The center stone merits praise for it's superbly rich color and excellent material. While offering charming hints of pinkish red, it's undeniably a red ruby. The stone bears the ideal proportion and shape for an oval cut and the tone exhibits excellent transparency. Hailing from the legendary mines of Burma, more specifically the Mogok valley in Myanmar. It's certainly from the old mine deposits where the material is much finer and has more richness and depth when compared to the newer stones.
The ring setting has a custom made deign where the diamond halo creates a concave around the diamonds, they point upwards to protect the center ruby and provide a slight shadow that gives the stone a darker hue indoors.
