Description
Antique Art Deco Era Platinum, Yellow Sapphire, and Diamond Pendant.
This antique art deco pendant features a, non-heated Ceylon yellow sapphire. Non-heated yellow sapphires are scarce. There has been no modification to the color or appearance of the gemstone. The yellow sapphire is 20 carats and AGL certified. The pendant carries several blue sapphires, with mixed cuts, and round-cut diamonds. The pendant has a ornamental Filigree setting and the piece comes in its original box.
Every detail of this piece exudes antique charm, from the intricately handcrafted filigree, the box and pin that hold down the pendant. Even the girdle of the sapphire is not polished, meaning they used a knife or manual bruting machine to cut the gem. A reminder of the human touch that breathes life into every facet of this extraordinary piece. A true artisanal piece that cannot find elsewhere.
