Description
This 18.95 Carat, Internally Flawless Type II-A Heart-Shape Diamond is the archetype of luxury. It embodies the essence of “Miracles of Nature.” That such beauty can be found in the greatest depths of our Mother Earth is what inspires us all.
Set in 18k white gold with an astonishing heart shape diamond sitting in the center. Flanked by 1.5 carats of bullet cut diamonds. All 20 carats shine bright enough to light a room,
The diamond is an extraordinarily rare “Type II-A” diamond, which signifies a lack of nitrogen atoms in the diamond. They are known to be exceptionally colorless and are the purest and most valued types of diamonds.
The diamond is classified by GIA to be a type II-A diamond with a “K” color and “IF” clarity. See GIA appendix letter and certificate details in the image slots.

GIA Appendix Letter:
Scientists classify diamonds into two main "types" - type I and type II - based on the
presence or absence of nitrogen which can replace carbon atoms in a diamond's atomic structure. These two diamond types can be distinguished on the basis of differences in their chemical and physical properties.
Type II diamonds contain little if any nitrogen and they are subdivided into two groups (lla and Ilb) both of which are quite rare (less than 2% of all gem diamonds).
According to the records of the GlA Laboratory, the 18.95 carat Heart Brilliant diamond described in GIA Diamond Grading Report #2175480222 has been determined to be a
type lla diamond.
Type lla diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often have exceptional optical transparency. Type lla diamonds were first identified as originating from, India (particularly from the Golconda region) but have since been recovered in all major diamond-producing regions of the world.
Among famous gem diamonds, the 530.20 carat Cullinan I and the 105.60 carat
Koh-i-noor are examples of type lla.
